On the subscription plan details page, it says: "Your account will continue to be auto-renewed after your specified period of time, unless you cancel."  Does this mean that unless I specifically cancel my subscription, my credit card will be automatically charged or a new subscription each month?

If so, I'm not sure I will ever subscribe again.  One of the reasons I liked the off-line subscription option was because I don't like auto credit card charges.  But, my checks are always getting lost and not cashed, so off-line isn't working either.  I want to support the station, but, especially in these tough times, it needs to be something that can be done on a month-by-month basis in case I can't always afford it.

It does mean that it will be automatically renewed.  However, what you can do is after paying for the month, just cancel it.  That will prevent the subscription from renewing or auto-charging your card next month, and you'll still have access to the subscriber steams for the time you paid for.  If you have another month later on down the line that you do want to pay for, use the same profile and subscribe and then cancel again.  I know it's a little more involved, but it works.

I'll ask Shon if we can introduce some subscription levels that don't auto-renew for subscriber such as yourself, who want to pay as you go.

I hope this answers your question.  Thanks for listening to JAR!
