You may want to try iTunes or Winamp.  I've been having many issues with WMP in playing /any/ stream, these days.  Especially with WMP 11.

You need to login to the Japan-A-Radio website with your username and password. Once you have logged in, click the MP3 stream. If the Windows Media Player is your default player, it should load fine with no problems. If there is an error, please post that error here. It is possible that if your workplace is that restrictive, they may restrict internet radio stations on their incoming equipment to the office. In that case, there may be nothing we can do about that, and you would need to speak to your system and/or network administrator and ask them if they can help you.

There is no error message the player just freezes at "Connecting to media" after asking me for my user name password... but it never plays...  Embarrassed

the none subscription connection is working fine... so there is no blocking on this computer that i know of... and as i said i can't install any software on this computer... so I'm stuck with trying to make WMP working... sad to say but if i don't get help and if it doesn't work... i will most likely cancel my subscription rebill...

I was willing to help out... i subscribed before that restriction thing... but if you restrict me and I'm paying... i wont be supporting you for not being able to listen to your radio... right... makes seance... so if you cant help me... am out...  Embarrassed

Sorry to see you go, but Shon usually doesn't get on the forums during the week until after 7pm.

Also, there's support@japanaradio.com.

Sorry that you're having so much trouble. It's not that we don't give a crap or anything like that. I'm extremely busy, and I'm the only one that's been trying to do anything to even keep Japan-A-Radio running period. Please understand, I have a backlog of e-mails, forum posts, and everything else that goes back at least a week. I can only do so much. As for your issue, you can look on the internet on how to make an ASX file and point it to one of the subscription mp3 servers. I'm assuming you can create a text file called filename.asx on your workstation. you could also probably take a look at our asx file as it downloads to open your windows media player. instead of opening the file in windows media player, you can save it and change the server from the aac server to the right server you subscribed for.

As for the contact us button, there are many ways to get in touch with us, and many people who will try to help out as much as possible. Our Japan-A-Radio Chatroom Network, and finally by e-mail to support AT misproductions DOT com. I'm the only one that gets, and answers support e-mails, so you have to be patient. Due to the fact there is so many players out there, we only officially support one player, and that's Winamp. Everything else is up to you to get working. We will try to help you out as much as possible, but again, please understand, that if you're wanting a quick 1 day turnaround on software issues, it most likely won't happen. You just have to be patient.
