By the time you read this, you probably have had questions regarding our public 64kbps stream and why it's become harder to listen to it. It's quite simple, really. We mentioned before about having a relay server that was on it's last leg, and it has gone away permananetly now. Which means, we have a serious shortage of 64kbps slots. Sorry, folks, we don't have the means to replace the lost relay on our own right now.
Japan-A-Radio is still available through it's 24kbps MP3 and AACplus streams, as well as the 48kbps AACplus public stream. If you are not yet a subscriber, please consider becoming a subsriber today. For subscribers, this doesn't effect you as long as you are listening on the subscriber servers. If you were subscribing and not using them, well, now you'll have to start. If anyone with extra bandwidth at a colocation facility would like to help out by donating a relay for us for awhile, we'd appreciate hearing from you. please email us at feedback[at]japanaradio[dot]com.
